Hello, and welcome to my recommendation page. This page will be a listing of products and services that I use on a daily or almost daily basis. I can highly recommend either for creating websites or for something I use daily.
I will receive a small commission if you purchase any of the items by clicking on any of the links below. (Minus Upside, MyPoints & The Morning Brew, which are FREE for you to use.) By purchasing other items below, you will be helping to support me in creating new helpful websites, along with building up the ones I currently have.

First off, let’s start with something FREE. – The Upside App. Gas prices are getting out of hand, and here is an app that I use every time I fill up with gas. You select the location (gas station) close to you, which will let you ‘check in’ and then fill up, and you can get cash back on every gallon.
You can also use it on other purchases from stores or restaurants. Then when you start getting cash in the app, you can use that to purchase gift cards or send the money to your PayPal or bank account.
Filling up, stocking up, and dining out has never been so rewarding. You won’t find better cash-back offers.
Download the app today and start earning on your everyday purchases.

Here is something else that is FREE. Morning Brew – The daily email newsletter covering the latest news from Wall St. to Silicon Valley. Informative, witty, and everything you need to start your day. Become Smarter In Just 5 Minutes. Get the daily email that makes reading the news enjoyable. Stay informed and entertained for free.
I have been subscribed for about four years now. It’s been a nice quick read first thing in the mornings to get caught up on what’s going on.
So click on the Morning Brew link to get signed up.
Here’s what to expect:
“We’ll send all the need-to-know and some of the fun-to-know business news straight to you every morning (Monday through Saturday). It’s the only newsletter where you’ll see Federal Reserve policy, Spotify streams, IPOs, and Shaquille O’Neal in a single email.”

Next up is another FREE program called MyPoints. I have been a member since 2005. All you need to do is sign up, then they will ask you questions to understand your likes, and then they will start sending you emails. Normally you will get about 1 to 4 emails a day.
Once you receive the emails, you need to click the ‘Get Points’ button at the bottom, let the page open and load, then close the page and delete the email. That’s all.

You will get 5 points per email clicked, and then when you get enough points, you can redeem them for gift cards. Yes, you can refer your friends and get more points; you can also go shopping and earn more points. As in the picture sample above, you can get an additional 2,000 points for buying a 12-pack of Iconic Protein drinks on Amazon.
Now, I don’t think I have ever purchased anything (that I can recall) through MyPoints; I click the emails and collect my 5 points (5~20 points per day) depending on how many emails I get each day. There are also other ways to get free points on their site, you have to look at their site, and they have contests and games to get more free points.
Now, just doing that, I get enough points to get about 2 $50 gift cards a year. I normally get food, so it’s two nice dinners out. Below is just a small list of gift cards you can get.

I have tried other “free point systems” in the past, and you have to normally get 10,000 or more points to get a $10 gift card; with MyPoints you need less than 8,000 for a $50 gift card.
The cool thing is I signed up my girlfriend (who likes to shop), So when she buys stuff, she gets points to redeem, and for referring her, I get a small percentage of her points. They don’t come out of her points; she gets to keep all of her points, and I get some of my own from MyPoints for her shopping. So we get to double that and get close to 4~5 $50 gift cards a year.
Just click on any of the MyPoints links to get signed up.

My next recommendation is Income School which is a way to make extra income, either part-time or full-time. NO, this is not MLM or something to ‘get rich quick.’ Income School is a 24-month plan to make extra or even full-time income. I signed up, went through the training in about two months, and then started building my websites.
If you would like to learn how to build your website(s) and make some money, I also have two other recommendations for where I get my Domain Names and where I do my Hosting of those Domains.
I like to use NameCheap for purchasing my Domain Names, mainly because I have gotten most of my Domains for about $2.88 for the year.
Now Hosting, is basically where your www.mysite.com files are stored. Most people will recommend something like HostGator, BlueHost, or GoDaddy. Why? Because that’s what everyone says is good and they are very cheap. But if you start researching these, you will soon find that many people can’t stand customer support. (pssst, it’s horrible)
That and they tend to cram a lot of people onto one server, and then your site’s performance suffers. I use Hostwinds. They also have a cheap shared hosting platform if you are starting out and possibly on a tight budget.
Their customer support has been top-notch as far as I am concerned. I purchased the more expensive dedicated hosting from Hostwinds, but only because I have many sites, and the performance is much higher.
Whenever I have a question or a technical issue, I can get answers normally in less than an hour, most of the time right that minute. I say an hour only because sometimes I have technical questions that require an escalation to a tech team member.
One last quick note here as well. I do use Pinterest and Instagram for some of my marketing to promote my sites. Managing all of that takes up a lot of time. Some people hire someone to manage their social media accounts, but many of us use an app like Tailwind to manage and schedule most of our content.
It is simple and easy to manage your Pinterest and Instagram accounts, especially if you want to get into the blogging world.
