Astrologers say every human being has a unique combination of the sun and moon signs, known as their zodiac sign or horoscope. You can find out your zodiac by finding them online.
But what if you don’t know where to start? Here’s how to figure it all out.
How To Find Your Zodiac Signs?
There are two ways of determining your zodiac sign: by the moon sign you were born under (by date) and by the sun sign you were born under (by time).
For example, if you were born in April, you have an Aquarius sun sign. If you’re born between 4/4/10 and 7/4/10, you would be taken with a Pisces sun sign.
Let’s take a look at each of these methods in detail.
Method 1: By Moon Sign
This method involves consulting a birth chart. The best place to do this is on the Internet. Many sites provide horoscope information, including my personal favorite, AstroTwin. It gives a birth chart based on your birth date and a sun sign based on the day you were born.
To consult the birth chart, click “Birth Chart” and select “Sun Sign.” This will create a new window with the same information provided in the birth chart. In this case, I was born with a Sagittarius sun sign.
Method 2: By Sun Sign
This method involves consulting the Chinese zodiac. You can find your Chinese zodiac by clicking “Birth Month” and selecting any month you want. Next, you’ll need to choose the year you were born. If you were born after 1990, then your Chinese zodiac is determined by the year you were born. For example, I was born in 1992, so my Chinese zodiac is Tiger.
Now that you’ve found your zodiac sign let’s look at its meaning.
Your Astrological Birth Chart
A birth chart is simply a map of the stars and planets appearing in the sky when you are born. So before we go into the meanings behind the different zodiac signs, we must first create our birth charts.
Here’s a quick guide if you’d like to learn more about creating a birth chart. Simply open Google Maps, zoom in on your hometown, and use the search box to type in “birth chart.” Then scroll down until you find “Google Places,” and use the search box to find a location near your home. From there, follow the directions until you arrive at a place displaying a map and telling you you’re on the right track.
Zodiac Signs And Their Meanings
As mentioned earlier, there are four main zodiac signs, but they also contain sub-signs. Let’s look at them individually, starting with the basic ones. Aries – Aries is a fire sign. As such, it is associated with energy and action. People born under this sign tend to be very independent and often leaders.
Taurus – Taurus is a water sign. As such, people born with this sign are often patient, have incredible willpower, and are usually good business people.
Gemini – Gemini is a balanced sign. People born under this sign tend to have a lot of fun and curiosity and are often great conversationalists.
Cancer – Cancer is a water sign. As such, people born under this sign are very emotional and nurturing, and caring toward others.
Leo – Leo is a fire sign. As such, people born under this sign tend to be passionate, outgoing, and energetic. They are also generally popular.
Virgo – Virgo is an earth sign. As such, people born under this sign tend to be practical, kind, and hardworking. They are also very organized and responsible.
Libra – Libra is a balanced sign. As such, people born under this sign tend to have a lot of friends and are great diplomats and mediators. Also, they are beautiful and graceful.
Scorpio – Scorpio is a water sign. As such, people born under this sign tend to be secretive and moody. They are also very ambitious and intelligent.
Sagittarius – Sagittarius is a fire sign. As such, people born under this sign tend to be adventurous and bold. They are also very artistic and creative.
Capricorn – Capricorn is an earth sign. As such, people born under this sign tend to be severe and businesslike. They are also very disciplined and hard workers.
Aquarius – Aquarius is an air sign. As such, people born under this sign tend to be very philosophical and spiritual. They are also very independent.
Pisces – Pisces is a water sign. As such, people born under this sign tend to be very imaginative and dreamy. They are also susceptible and emotional.
